GUIDELINES TO APPLY FOR A SUPPORTING LETTER FOR LETTER OF GOOD CONDUCT (LOGC)
Letter of Good Conduct (LOGC) is one of compulsory documents to be submitted for application of MM2H Programme. Owing to requirement by authorities from certain countries, they require a request / support letter issued by Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Centre before LOGC can be issued to MM2H applicants.
Letter of Good Conduct (LOGC) MUST BE ISSUED by the following authorities:

Police Department or Security Agencies from applicant’s country of origin or domicile country;

Embassy or Consulate of the applicant’s country of origin in Malaysia or in other country;

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia (Eligible only for applicant who has resided in Malaysia for more than one (1) year. Application can be made via e-Consular System www.kln.gov.my ).
IMPORTANT NOTES:

The Special Branch Unit, Royal Malaysia Police will NOT issue LOGC to any applicant;

LOGC issued in language other than English Language must be translated by accredited translator in applicant’s country of origin, domicile country or Malaysia;

Translation of LOGC must be Certified True Translation by:
i. Embassy or Consulate of the applicant’s country of origin in Malaysia or in other country; OR
ii. Malaysian Institute of Translation & Books (ITBM); OR
iii. Interpreter from High Court in Malaysia (Its acceptance is at the discretion of Immigration Department of
Malaysia).

4. Letter of Good Conduct from China
Kindly be informed that Letter of Good Conduct (LOGC) from CHINA must be submitted following the procedures:
i. Original LOGC issued by Police Department or Security Agencies in China must be translated by Notary Public
in China.
ii. Original LOGC translated by Notary Public in China must be certified by the following agencies:
a) Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China; AND
b) Embassy or Consulate of Malaysia in China; AND
c) Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia (Wisma Putra, Putrajaya - Consular Division) –
To confirm whether the Consular Officer at Consulate of Malaysia in China who certifies the LOGC is still in
service and has the authority tocertify the document.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Eligible applicants from the following countries may apply:
- Singapore or Hong Kong nationals;
- Applicant from other nationality who is working or living in Singapore or Hong Kong;
- Chinese nationals from certain provinces / districts in China.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
To apply, please provide the following supporting documents:
- Application letter from MM2H applicant;
- Application letter from the appointed MM2H Agent (if apply through agent);
- A copy of MM2H participant’s international passport (pages that display the identity of the applicant).
