Please be informed that MM2H Centre will be relocated to 1st floor, Ministry of Tourism & Culture Malaysia effective from June 17th, 2013 (Monday). However, the MM2H Immigration Unit will remain at the 10th floor, as usual.

Disruption for Domestic Helpers Visa Extension

We would like to inform that due to problems in the MyIMMs system, the Immigration Unit, MM2H Centre is unable to issue any visa extension for Domestic Helpers.

Therefore, for participants with Domestic Helpers with visas expiring soon, please proceed to the Immigration Unit, MM2H Centre to obtain a Special Pass valid for 30 days at a fee of RM100.00.

Renewal of MM2H Company License for 2013

To all MM2H Licensed Companies,

Following to the decisions made during the Dialogue Session Between the MM2H Agents Association Council Members with the Ministry of Tourism on 14 December 2012, please be informed that all existing MM2H Companies with valid licences are able to renew their licences to provide services to the MM2H participants until 31ST DECEMBER 2013 only, without checking on the number of MM2H approvals obtained for the year 2012 with IMMEDIATE EFFECT. This will allow the Ministry to review its current licensing practices and work on the best method to regulate the MM2H companies.

“The MM2H Centre would like to inform that effective 12 July 2012, all MM2H applications must submit bank account statements that shows the latest 3 months deposit for monthly income (either from salary/ rental/ interest earned/ shares/ etc) or government-approved pensions into the applicant’s bank accounts.

Complete applications received before that date, are not subjected to the above requirement.”

ONLINE CAR TAX EXEMPTION APPLICATION

Please be informed that starting from November 2010, the application for tax exemption for the locally purchased and imported car need to be done through the online application system at https://smpc.treasury.gov.my/sop/workdesk/login.jsp and manual application is not acceptable. For applicants with chidren nearing the age 21 , they must submit their applications at least 3 months before their children reaches the age of 21.

Please be informed that with effective of 15 October 2010, all new applications must fulfil the financial criteria as per decided by the Special Committee on Malaysia My Second Home Programme (MM2H) as follows:

For certified copy(s) of Current Account, applicants must provide the latest 3 months’ statement with each month’s credit balance of:

a. not less than RM 350,000 per month for 50 years and above category; or

b. not less than RM 500,000 per month for below 50 years old category

* The rest of the requirements are still applies based on the existing checklist.
